Chris Dearden studied at the Huddersfield College of Art. and went on to work as as a textile designer. Chris is a full time artist and teacher of Watercolour and oil painting. In 1973, he moved to Northern Ireland where he has lived since then. He has won numerous awards for his watercolour paintings which are greatly sought after, and is an Associate of Royal Ulster Academy.  He exhibits across the UK, Ireland and the USA.  
Much of his work is inspired by the French landscape, which he visirts regularly.
