Acrylic Gouache does not shift in colour tone from wet to dried colour, so what you see wet is what you see when dry. The finish is opaque, intense, smooth and velvety, giving you the ability to draw fine lines to your heart’s content.
Holbein Acrylic Gouache is specifically designed to be used directly from the tube and will dry to even, uniform paint layers.
Holbein Acrylic Gouache is suitable for design sketches and has a moderate drying time that does not differ from regular watercolour paint. Acrylic Gouache has an approximate open paint time of 10-30 minutes.
Holbein Acrylic Gouache can be used on a variety of surfaces including paper, canvas, cloth, stone, wood, leather, plexiglass and concrete with excellent adhesion. Holbein Acrylic Gouache is rated for permanency and is compatible with all acrylic mediums.
